Safe, effective hydroblasting requires the efforts of all stakeholders – service providers, asset owners, OEMs and training companies – to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
Training protocols and even some industry terminology can vary between regions, industries and contractors. WJTA training and certification offers a solution with a frequently updated, uniform training program based on the WJTA best practices (orange book).
Why Offer WJTA FT and FV Training
- Help propagate safe and consistent hydroblasting practices between different regions, employers, and end user industries by requiring and/or investing in training and certification
- Ensure hydroblasting terminology is aligned between contractor operators, equipment manufacturers and asset owners for clear and effective communication, job planning, and problem solving
- Keep pace with the evolving safe practices and technology that develops in the industry. The Hydroblaster Training and Certification curriculum is revised and updated frequently in complete accordance with the WJTA’s Industry Best Practices for the Use of High Pressure Waterjetting Equipment
