New Hydroblasting for Permit Writers

A new presentation – Hydroblasting for Permit Writers – is now available for members in good standing on the WJTA website. The 15-minute presentation offers an overview of some potential injuries on a hydroblasting job and a high-level look at some of the safety devices and equipment choices that can mitigate these hazards.

The presentation is intended as an orientation for asset owner permit writers and safety personnel, but it provides information that may be a useful introduction for contractors or suppliers and a helpful reminder on high pressure hazards.
