Call for Committee Membership

WJTA relies on the support of its membership to drive industry-leading initiatives supporting safety and technology development; establishing best practice guidelines for waterjetting and industrial vacuum; training and workforce development initiatives; educating and fostering growth within the industry and more.

Now is your chance to get involved and make a difference for our industry. WJTA is soliciting applications for membership on the following committees:

• Conference/Expo Exhibitor Outreach Committee – responsible for driving exhibitor growth at the WJTA Expo and developing exhibitor acquisition/retention strategy
• Conference/Expo Attendee Outreach Committee – responsible for supporting attendance at the WJTA Expo and developing attendee acquisition/retention strategy
• High Pressure Safety Committee – responsible for reviewing and updating WJTA high pressure best practices, soliciting/reviewing incident reports, and any other matters pertaining to high pressure waterjetting safety
• Membership Committee – responsible for growing WJTA's membership
• Vacuum Safety Committee – responsible for reviewing and updating WJTA vacuum best practices, soliciting/reviewing incident reports, and any other matters pertaining to vacuum safety

The responsibilities of committee members are challenging, but truly rewarding. Moving forward, committee participation will generally involve quarterly conference calls, as well as occasional email/phone correspondence on committee matters as they arise. Meetings may be more frequent during times of high workload.
