WJTA Hosts Successful 2025 Conference & Expo
The WJTA Conference & Expo returned to New Orleans November 5-7, drawing a large crowd for the association’s final event in the big easy before moving to Orlando in 2027.
The event kicked off on November 5 with a daylong short course – the Waterjet Technology Basics & Beyond – which presented a comprehensive overview of high pressure waterjetting fundamentals and applications.
A new kickoff keynote and general assembly was held Thursday morning, November 6, followed by the grand opening of the exhibit hall.
A large crowd gathered during the general assembly to hear the introduction of WJTA CEO Micheal Johnson and learn about WJTA’s future direction. The crowd moved into the exhibit hall to see all of the newest technology and equipment displayed by a variety of suppliers and service providers. Advances in automation technology, vacuum loading, high pressure pumps, tooling, and many ancillaries and services were on display for attendees to evaluate.
Another new aspect of the WJTA Conference & Expo was a buffet luncheon open to all participants. The luncheon was a huge success with many attendees and exhibitors taking the opportunity to continue mingling and strengthening connections with industry peers.
Technical sessions on November 6 and 7 covered a variety of topics relating to safety, technology, and equipment. Outdoor live demonstrations, always a highlight of the WJTA program, featured new equipment and technology from Hammelmann Corporation, Jetstream of Houston, LLP, NLB Corporation, and StoneAge, Inc.
The next WJTA Conference & Expo will be held in a new location – the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Mark your calendar for the 2027 WJTA Conference & Expo, December 7-9.
The WJTA’s next social event will be the 2026 Golf Tournament, October 26, 2026, at the Wildcat Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Details on the 2026 WJTA Golf Tournament and sponsorship opportunities will be posted to the website shortly.
