The WJTA’s 3-hour eLearning module has been translated into Spanish. Members have requested a Spanish-language version of the course to better serve native Spanish-speaking or dual-language employees.
The Spanish version developed in partnership with the Health and Safety Council (HASC) uses an innovative approach highlighting key terms in English with Spanish translation and explanation. This helps trainees to begin to recognize English-language terms they may hear in the field, while benefitting from instruction in their native language.
WJTA’s Hydroblaster Foundational Training, first launched in 2019, covers the association’s best practices (Orange Book), offering an overview of industry terminology and safe practices.
WJTA’s English- and Spanish-language eLearning courses are available onsite at any HASC location, through reciprocal safety councils in the Association of Reciprocal Safety Council (ARSC) network, or remotely through HASC’s Live Online Proctoring system.
