HydroCut® is a second-generation process improvement additive for all
waterjet applications. The product is an ultra-high molecular weight
water-soluble polymer provided as an easy-to use suspension in oil. Its
mechanism of operation is to beneficially change the rheological
properties of the water stream used in waterjet cutting, cleaning,
drilling and shaping applications. Advantages include ease of product
storage and handling, simple feed system and extremely low environmental
impact. Use of HydroCut in your waterjet will reduce the in-line
pressure drop, improve the jet stream focus, greatly reduce power
consumption, increase the life of the nozzle, create shorter job times
and result in improved cut surfaces and edges.
